2nd Annual Friends of Dicken Woods Benefit Concert, Sunday, August 29, 2004
Thanks to the generosity of very special musicians, as well as our business friends, the Friends of Dicken Woods have organized a wonderful benefit concert for Sunday August 29, 2004 at the Ark. Tickets are $20 each ($25 for reserved seats) with all proceeds benefitting the preservation efforts. Doors to the Ark (316 S. Main, Ann Arbor) open at 7:00pm, the show starts at 7:30pm.
This concert is being sponsored by a number of our local business friends who care about the issues we care about:
According to the Ark's Calendar of Events:
"Cultivate a new green space in Ann Arbor with George Bedard & the Kingpins, Matt Watroba, David Barrett, Al & Whit Hill, and more."
A galaxy of local stars come together to support ongoing stewardship, maintenance, reforestation, and trail building in this west side park, acquired last summer by the Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation Department. Enjoy a great evening of local folk music and R&B, and help get the Dicken Woods off to a great start!
