Join the Dicken Woods Trails Dedication Ceremony

The Friends of Dicken Woods are hosting a trails dedication ceremony on Sunday, October 17 at 2pm. Come one, come all! We'll gather at the Dicken parking lot and walk over to Dicken Woods. The Friends will present a check for $50,000 to Mayor John Hieftje, fulfilling our pledge to help pay for the purchase of Dicken Woods. We'll say a few words about this special new nature area and our plans to help it serve Dicken School as a educational resource. Then we'll take a group walk around the new trails and head back to the school for refreshments (bring a plate of goodies to share, if you'd like, but no obligation; contact Naela Jenkins at naelajenkins@comcast.net or Stephanie Hunter at huntersofa2@aol.com for questions).

We're inviting City Council, the Board of Education, and Superintendent George Fornero, and we hope to have the Ann Arbor News there too. Please join the fun and help us have a huge group photo for the paper!
